“Amazing, amazing. As a person! And as a footballer, I don’t have words to describe him. He has achieved something extraordinary: he has normalised extraordinary achievements. And that, to do that… The fact that we expect even more from him, that is… (he cuts himself off). There are no more words to explain just how crazy, how amazing, how extraordinary he is. He taught me a lot and he amazed me a lot. How many times have I said to myself: “Woah, that’s amazing.” (smiles)”
