Samir Nasri was unveiled as an Anderlecht player earlier today. The 32-year-old discussed the thinking behind his decision to reunite at Anderlecht.
“I wanted to stay in Europe in an interesting and different project for me. Money was not my motivation, more the footballing project, the work with a friend… Becoming a dad changes a man considerably… I have attained a certain maturity recently.”
“I made mistakes, I have a well-tempered character… That is also why you have seen bad things on the internet… People in football know the real Samir Nasri… My personal aim and that of the club is to be champion and to be back in the Champions’ League.”
