L’Équipe report this evening that there is a good chance that 19-year-old central midfielder Antoine Bernède will leave PSG before the January window closes.
The Frenchman refused to sign the 5-year contract extension that was recently put in front of him, and as his deal is expiring at the end of the current campaign, he has been banished to the capital club’s reserves.
St Étienne and RB Leipzig have positioned themselves in pole to sign the teenager, but in recent hours Les Verts appear to have begun to pull their interest, which put the Bundesliga side in the driving seat.
Will PSG let Bernède leave? If they do and sell this month, at least they will recoup some form of fee…
