Torino jump into the race for Bordeaux winger François Kamano

L’Équipe report that Serie A side Torino have entered the race to sign Guinea international attacker François Kamano from Ligue 1 side Bordeaux.

The 23-year-old returned to training with Les Girondins earlier today following a disappointing AFCON.

The player had been poised to join AS Monaco, but Leonardo Jardim, who absolutely wants the winger to sign, is facing an internal battle on his hands to convince all decision-makers at the Principality side to give the green-light for the deal.

An agreement that included cash plus midfielder Youssef Ait-Bennasser appeared imminent, but ASM for the moment have hit the breaks.

In recent days, Torino have made initial approaches, with Sevilla said to still be interested in Kamano too.
