Toulouse boss Alain Casanova quit the job after receiving written death threats

L’Équipe report that now departed Toulouse boss Alain Casanova was not fired but quit the job yesterday following the receipt of written death threats.

With the help of Toulouse, who handed over some information to the police without demanding the inception of an investigation, an individual has been placed in police custody in relation to the incident.

A source from inside the Toulouse dressing room indicated that Casanova told the 1st team squad: “I can no longer live up to my responsibilities, or work in good conditions.”
