France Football report in tomorrow’s magazine that Arsenal manager Unai Emery wants to sign PSG full-back Thomas Meunier this summer.
The Belgian international is being pushed out of the capital club by German boss Thomas Tuchel, who prefers Thilo Kehrer and even Colin Dagba in the right-back position.
Meunier is on Manchester United’s shortlist, and with a salary estimated to be €3m a year, would seem a very cost effective option. PSG want €30m for the former Club Brugge player and he is also in the visor of London club Arsenal.
The outlet claims that Unai Emery wants to sign him following their experience in Paris together where the Spanish tactician placed considerable confidence in Meunier as the starting right-back.
This option would be of particular interest in Meunier, especially if the club qualifies for the Champions’ League in Baku shortly.
