West Ham have cooled interest in Morgan Sanson

As reported by L’Équipe, Premier League side West Ham United have cooled their supposed interest in Frenchman and Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson.

Marseille President Eyraud has enlisted the help of British intermediaries in an attempt to complete the fire-sale that he requires to make in order to stay in line with an agreement the club signed recently with UEFA concerning FFP, but in this particular case, at least so far, to no avail.

Whilst West Ham’s interest in doing a deal for the former Montpellier man has not totally disappeared, it has certainly cooled to the point that a deal is unlikely in the next 14 days, which doesn’t help OM.

Newcastle have also made their interest in Sanson known through intermediaries, per the outlet.
