RMC report that St Étienne and Arsenal have concluded a €29m, including bonuses, fee agreement for the transfer of 18-year-old French youth international William Saliba.
The central defender’s desire to join Arsenal over other interested parties, with the outlet naming Tottenham, played a role in the fee negotiations – he will sign a 5-year contract with the Gunners, before being loaned back to Les Verts for he 2019/20 campaign.
He will sign for Arsenal on Tuesday on Les Verts’ return from Washington.
