Adil Rami paid nothing by Russian side Sochi, declares himself a free agent

In a press release authored by his lawyer Jules Plancque, 34-year-old World Cup winner Adil Rami today put across his anger towards Russian 1st division side FC Sochi, who he signed for on a short-term basis in February.

The French defender feels that the Russian side “has not respected any of their engagements” made to him and asserts that he has not received “any remuneration.”

He also announces that he is now a free agent: “Also, the player finds himself to be completely without any contractual engagement, with a desire still in tact to continue his professional football career.”
