L’Équipe report that Bernard Blaquart has decided to resign as manager of Ligue 1 side Nîmes, having told his entourage that his mind is made up.
Under contract with Les Crocos until 2023, Blaquart has yet to inform President Rani Assaf of this decision. The French coach has made this decision because of differences that he has with Assaf, who sources indicate did not stick to a promise that he made Blaquart in the event that Nîmes remain in Ligue 1.
Blaquart began the adventure with Les Crocos back in 2015, having been responsible for their promotion to the French top flight.
