Speaking on OL TV, Ligue 1 club Lyon’s new Head of Recruitment Bruno Cheyrou provided his assessment of the squad.
“If ever we have a golden generation with 5 or 6 youngsters that come out of the academy, and we don’t need to recruit from elsewhere, then I will be delighted. It is important to have a fair amount of players from the youth academy with serious characters.”
“[For example] if Cherki is good at 16 and deserves to start, well then he should play.”
