Bruno Fernandes: “It doesn’t matter if the result tomorrow isn’t what we were looking for.”

Speaking to RMC Sport, Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes previewed Tuesday’s clash with PSG in the Champions’ League.

“Like everyone knows, the situation is a little different for us, because we started later on in the Premier League… We are one point behind Manchester City. We should not be looking at others, but to concentrate on what we have to do. It is difficult to begin the league again in this way, certain players have been with their national teams, others at the training centre. It is difficult to have back-to-back sessions with the whole squad to prepare.”

“It doesn’t matter if the result tomorrow isn’t what we were looking for. We want to win, we have to win, but if we do not manage it, we shouldn’t let it get to us. This is just the start of the season, we have to prepare for what is to come. The group is very difficult, a tricky month awaits us. It will be important to try to win for our confidence. When you win, your confidence is better and the atmosphere too.”
