SM Caen’s 28-year-old striker Benjamin Jeannot has been ruled out of action for the rest of the season, as Pascal Dupraz’s charges continue to face the real threat of relegation from Ligue 2.
Last Friday, Jeannot sustained an achilles tendon rupture during a derby clash with Le Havre.
The Achilles tendon is reported to have been completely ruptured and he is expected to undergo surgery today ahead of a 4 month recovery period.
