RMC Sport report that Premier League side Chelsea are currently in pole position to land PSG prospect Kays Ruiz-Atil.
The central midfielder joined Les Parisiens from Barcelona in 2015, but the relationship between his entourage at the Ligue 1 club has suffered in recent months as he fails to breakthrough at the highest youth level in the squad.
Claude Makelele is working on this deal for Chelsea, and was present at the Parc des Princes last Sunday as PSG drew 3-3 with AS Monaco.
CFC will have to negotiate a fee with Les Parisiens in order to sign the teenager, who is contracted to the French club until 2021. PSG are not entirely closed off to a possible departure, but they are waiting for a concrete approach from Chelsea and certain individuals inside the French club are a bit irritated by the constant communication between Chelsea and Ruiz-Atil’s clan and the total lack of formal club-to-club approach that CFC have so far made.
