Dijon have made contact with Herita Ilunga about vacant Sporting Director role

Following the departure of Head of Recruitment Sébastien Larcier, who has moved on to Angers, Dijon are actively searching for his replacement.

RMC report that they have had initial contact with ex-St Étienne and West Ham player and current member of the Confederation of African Football’s development board, Hérita Ilunga.

Dijon President Olivier Delcourt is currently being assisted by Peguy Luyindula in finding the right man – Canal + pundit Eric Carrière is another name that has been mentioned.

Ilunga has the well-known University of Limoges diploma in sports management, making him an interesting option for DFCO, which has resulted in initial contact between the parties.
