False COVID-19 alert for Benjamin Mendy & his entourage

L’Équipe report that Manchester City left-back Benjamin Mendy’s family member, who had COVID-19-like symptoms and was admitted to hospital, did and does not have the virus.

Mendy self-isolated after it emerged on Thursday night that someone close to him was going to be formally tested for COVID-19.

Mendy will be free to train again as normal once Manchester City decide to lift the suspension on training.
