Le Parisien report that at the beginning of this weekend a youth coach of amateur side FC Magnanville’s U16s was arrested on charges of rape, attempted rape and sexual assault on several teenage players at the club.
He had managed the U16s for many years and was known to be well-respected across the club.
There have so far been five victims who have come forward, citing instances that occurred in 2016 and 2017.
According to a source close to the ongoing investigation, teenagers who played for the club would often go to this individual’s house:
“It is true that he was always surrounded by young players. The kids like him a lot. They would sometimes go to his house to use the weights section installed in his garage. Some of them even slept there.”
