Speaking to RTL, FFF President Noël le Graët explained that there was no way that the current season could be concluded by end of June, owing to the ongoing COVID-19 disruption.
“We are not going to finish at the end of June, it is impossible, we have to lift our heads up. We are not going to play every two or three days. We will play up until the end of July if it is possible. The dates have little importance. If we can start at the end of May or at the beginning of June, we will finish around the 20th July and that wouldn’t be bad. These are speculations. The quicker we get going again, the quicker we will be able to analyse the calendar. But the football is not important. We will find dates and the the money necessary.”
