Speaking at the UEFA Congress in Amsterdam today, FFF President Noël Le Graët sought to encourage calm amid calls from European governments to cancel sporting events owing to the coronavirus.
“There are a lot of cases (of coronavirus in France), some of which are unfortunate. But this said, cancelling matches will merely increase panic, I think. All the regions are not victims of considerable contamination… I trust the Minister of Health, those who have the privilege of being experts in this field. We will not exceed the orders we receive (from the government).”
