FFF President Le Graët: Talks ongoing to fill stadiums for the start of Ligue 1

Speaking in an interview with Le Parisien, FFF President Noël Le Graët confirmed that talks are still ongoing with the government so that Ligue 1 stadia will be filled when action returns on the 22nd and 23rd August.

“We are still in conversations so that people will be there for the return of Ligue 1. How many people? I don’t know. Nobody can really predict it. A month ago, I was having conversations that were a little more optimistic. But today, with the light uptick in the pandemic that we’ve seen, we are asking ourselves questions.”

On PSG ultras bunching together against health directives inside the Parc des Princes during the 17th July friendly against Waasland-Beveren:

I understand that fans are happy to be back in the stadium to encourage their team, but we need everyone to be responsible, on their level, and adopt good practices.
