FFF signs deal to televise all French 4th & 5th division matches for 5 years

The French Football Federation has signed an agreement with Luxembourg company Fuchs Sports to broadcast all French 4th and 5th division matches for the next 5 years between 2020 and 2025.

In a communiqué released earlier on Friday, the FFF announced that all matches will be broadcast live on “a dedicated platform.”

It is currently unclear whether this platform, which will be owned by Fuchs Sports, will be freely available with advertisements, or whether you will have to pay for access as a consumer.

The biggest clashes are also poised to be available on FFF TV, which is currently free to air on YouTube. The FFF added in their communiqué that they are hopeful that this will bring more eyeballs onto these divisions, as they intend to ensure that content on FFF TV will continue to be available for free.
