Speaking to Téléfoot Chaine, 27-year-old Marseille winger Florian Thauvin responded to AC Milan Technical Director Paolo Maldini confirming to the same station earlier this week that the Frenchman was being tracked by him.
“These are the sort of things that make me happy, when a football legend speaks well of you. It touched me a lot, it really pleased me and I thank him for that.”
Thauvin is out of contract with OM next summer.
