Speaking in an interview with Canal Football Club, Senegalese international midfielder Idrissa Gueye admitted his disappointment at the imminent departure of Brazilian central defender Thiago Silva.
“He is a truly great player, a fantastic defender with experience. Of course (I would have wanted him to stay). He is very useful for the team. We need experienced players, players with great class like that.”
