Speaking on RMC Sport, Montpellier midfielder Jordan Ferri discussed his ex-Lyon team-mate and Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette’s difficulties in forcing his way into Didier Deschamps’s set-up with the French national team.
“It is a decision that the national team boss makes. Maybe Lacazette sometimes does too much for the rest of the team. Maybe he needs to be a bit more selfish. With his play, I think he gets as many assists as goals. He needs to be a bit more of a killer sometimes and think more about himself. Maybe he would have a few more goals to his name. But that would also change his style of play and it would no longer be the same Lacazette.”
