Layvin Kurzawa edging Juan Bernat in the battle to start vs Dortmund

L’Équipe report that French international left-back Layvin Kurzawa is currently edging his colleague Juan Bernat in the fight to start in tomorrow’s Champions’ League match between PSG and Dortmund.

The 26-year-old Spaniard is not in optimal physical condition, having played his first minutes against Amiens on Saturday since injuring his calf in the middle of January during the 3-3 draw with AS Monaco.

At the moment, boss Thomas Tuchel is tending towards starting Kurzawa, who has performed, at least in the German’s eyes, adequately since having to step up for the injured Bernat.
