Leandro Paredes told players before Dortmund game: “I will deal with Can at the start.”

Le Parisien report that Argentinian international midfielder Leandro Paredes told the PSG dressing room moments before the start of Wednesday night’s Champions’ League clash with Dortmund that he was on a personal mission to nullify German international Emre Can.

The newspaper claims that Paredes wanted to avenge “tackles on the borderline between being warning-worthy and nasty,” that he adjudged the ex-Juventus man to have made in the 1st leg, notably on Neymar.

He told his colleagues on Wednesday: “We are going to do the same (as him in the 1st leg). Me, I will deal with Can from the off.”

He duly executed his promise, leaving a dig on Can inside the first 5 minutes of the fixture.
