Lille boss Christophe Galtier: “I wanted to manage abroad, but I want to stay at Lille.”

Speaking in an interview with Téléfoot, Lille manager Christophe Galtier was asked about his future ambitions.

“I wanted to discover what managing abroad was like, but that is no longer the be all and end all. I want to stay at Lille. There is nothing more valuable when a president, on the human side, wants you to stay. At the end of the season, a lot of things were said and written. I had the desire and the desire to continue at Lille. President Aulas (Lyon) never called me and my president knew that I wanted to continue here.”
