Le Progrès report that 27-year-old French striker Loïs Diony has suffered cranial injuries which occurred whilst mountain biking.
Diony has had an eventful lockdown period, having been severely criticised for flouting quarantine rules and playing football with Gaëtan Laborde back in May.
Unfortunately for him and Les Verts, he fell off his mountain bike onto his head recently, which will keep him out of action for at least a month.
As a result, it looks unlikely that he will be able to start for St Étienne in the Coupe de France final, due to occur on 24th July. If this is the case, then the only striker available will be youngster Charles Abi for the big final.
