RMC Sport report that a close ally of Sporting Advisor Luis Campos at Lille, Olivier Gagne, has decided to leave Les Dogues – he has been in the position of Sporting Coordinator for more than a year.
Gagne previously worked for Nike and has worked directly with Campos since the summer of 2019. Campos continues to want to leave Les Dogues owing to a bad relationship with Director General Marc Ingla, reaffirming his desire to quit to President Gérard Lopez back in the middle of last month.
When asked about the future of Campos on 29th October, manager Christophe Galtier said:
“I don’t know where we are with the situation. I have had exchanges with my president on match preparation, the squad, because Luis has not been on-site for a little while. But I have not heard from Luis, nor from the president on the situation… I hope that things will be sorted out.”
