Speaking in a press conference on Wednesday, Lyon manager Rudi Garcia commented on the €12m plus bonuses departure of French youth international attacker Martin Terrier.
“I was in total agreement with the board on having given up Martin. We have too many players up top. When we have opportunities and requests, we listen to them, we evaluate them and we respond either favourably or not. For Martin, like for us in terms of the squad, it was a good opportunity.”
