Téléfoot Chaine report that Ligue 1 side Marseille, through their Head of Football Pablo Longoria, want to sign 19-year-old right-back Issa Kaboré from Manchester City.
OM lost 28-year-old right-sided player Bouna Sarr in the final hours of the transfer window to Bayern Munich, leaving the club with just one right-back in their squad, Hiroki Sakai.
OM attempted to replace Sarr with Genk’s 23-year-old Joakim Maehle on deadline day, but could not agree a fee with the Belgian 1st division.
Kaboré is currently on loan with Belgian side Mechelen, but the outlet claims that OM could sign him for around €5m from the Citizens in January.
