Speaking to RMC Sport, Premier League side Brighton’s striker Neal Maupay did not close the door on a return to France one day, but made it clear that he remains hell-bent on staying in the English 1st division for as long as possible.
“I would advise youngsters to be in a club where they are wanted. I wanted to play every single week. When I finished my loan with Brest and I quit St Étienne, I did not have an enormous amount of choice.”
“I do not exclude returning to France, it is my country, but I have discovered a football culture that I like and I feel like I am in my element. So if I could have my career in the Premier League, I would be very happy.”
