Speaking to Canal Plus, 23-year-old attacker Neal Maupay caught up with the station about how he is dealing with quarantine.
“Sometimes, as footballers we are look at as people who are privileged. We play football, we live our passions, we travel often, so we do have those advantages. But right now, we are like everyone else, we have to stay home, we have to vigorously respect the rules. So it is good, I think this is a time where everything is being put into perspective. Sometimes when we are caught up in the rush of the competition, the matches, training everyday, we don’t have the time to deal with certain things, to think about certain things. And at this moment, we have more time, to relativise everything. I think it is good for everyone.”
