France Football this morning confirm earlier reporting from L’Équipe that Championship outfit Nottingham Forest are in advanced negotiations with Ligue 1 club Strasbourg to sign 28-year-old striker Nuno da Costa.
Da Costa has already agreed to a 3.5 year provisional contract with Sabri Lamouchi’s side.
Forest are not stopping there and may look to bring in another attacker from the French 1st division before this month is up. They are in talks with Metz about signing 26-year-old Algerian attacking midfielder Farid Boulaya on loan with an option to buy.
Boulaya, who is under contract with Les Grenats until 2022, was excellent for Metz in their promotion push last season, but has only started 6 clashes so far this season.
