Official | Florentino Luis joins AS Monaco on loan from Benfica

Ligue 1 side AS Monaco on Friday confirmed the season-long loan arrival of 21-year-old Portuguese defensive midfielder Florentino Luis from Benfica, for a fee of €1.5m.

There is no option to buy included in the deal.

Luis had the following to say: 

“I am delighted to sign with AS Monaco and to get my first experience abroad. This new step represents a fantastic opportunity for me to discover a new footballing horizon in one of the top 5 European leagues but also and above all to continue improving at a club with ambition and high demands.”
