Ligue 1 side Rennes have announced the sudden departure of president Olivier Létang.
Owner François-Henri Pinault had the following to say on the decision: “With Olivier Létang, Rennes went to new heights in its progression. The European adventure and the 2019 Coupe de France will stay in our memories. The club can rely on solid internal teams to continue the ongoing season in the best conditions.”
Jacques Delanoë will take over from Létang in the immediate future.
Goal France report that the decision was Pinault’s, not Létang’s, to see the latter leave.
