Ligue 2 side RC Lens have announced the immediate suspension of manager Philippe Montanier, ahead of his imminent sacking.
RCL currently sit 3rd in the league table, one point off of AC Ajaccio in 2nd, but the French 2nd division side felt that now was the right time to separate themselves from the ex-Rennes boss.
Lens have won just one match out of a possible seven in 2020.
Current reserve team manager Franck Haise will take charge of RCL in the interim.
