Patrice Garande emerges as frontrunner to take over at Toulouse

La Dépêche du Midi report that newly-relegated to Ligue 2 outfit Toulouse and their prospective new owners RedBird Capital Partners are pushing ahead with planning for the 2020/21 campaign.

Ex-Fenerbahce and Liverpool Sporting Director Damien Comolli is expected to become the club’s president and has held a conversation with ex-SM Caen boss Patrice Garande about becoming the outfit’s new manager.

Réginald Ray, who has just exited Le Mans after their relegation to the French 3rd division, is also another, arguably surprising, candidate for the role.
