RMC and Mohamed Toubache-TER report that Ligue 1 side Angers have today had an offer accepted by Bordeaux for 23-year-old French goalkeeper Paul Bernardoni.
The deal is worth €7.5m and this latest bid is believed to have been Le SCO’s 3rd proposal. Nîmes and Montpellier had also been in the race, for a shot-stopper who has spent the last two campaigns on loan with Les Crocos.
FCGB are in desperate need of liquidity and Bernardoni has already been told that he will be the first choice goalkeeper with Angers next season, displacing Ludovic Butelle in the pecking order.
Now, he must finalise personal details with his future club before the deal is made official.
