PSG fined €30k by UEFA for late kick-off against Atalanta

UEFA have confirmed their decision to fine PSG, to the tune of €30,000, owing to their role in their Champions’ League quarter-final clash with Atalanta kicking off late.

The communiqué released by the governing body lays the blame for this tardy kick-off to German coach Thomas Tuchel.

Les Parisiens won the game 2-1 with some further lateness, albeit in the goals department, with an added time winner from Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting. They will face RB Leipzig in the semi-finals.
