Our colleagues at Foot Mercato have today confirmed previous reporting from RMC that Premier League side Liverpool are in ongoing conversations with the entourage of 17-year-old Portuguese youth international attacker Pedro Brazão, who is currently contracted to Ligue 1 side OGC Nice until June 2022.
The Reds are believed to be in conversations with both the player’s wider entourage and the law firm that currently and oddly represents him as technically his agency.
PSG are also in conversations with the same individuals, but Brazão’s priority currently is to install himself in the OGC Nice project. So far in his career, he has appeared just once as a substitute in Ligue 1, last season against Caen. Les Aiglons do not appear to have strategised to create a clear playing time plan for the teenager for the forthcoming 24 months, which is the major source of frustration for the youngster and hence why he is looking at the other potential options available to him.
For the moment, the ball is in OGC Nice’s court – will Patrick Vieira agree to include Brazão more significantly in his plans in the coming months or not?
