PSG trying to find exit for Julian Draxler

As reported by L’Équipe, PSG continue to seek an exit door for 26-year-old German attacking midfielder Julian Draxler, who has been told on multiple occasions that there is no place for him in the squad.

Draxler has one year remaining on his contract with Les Parisiens but is not keen to leave as he likes the Paris lifestyle.

Germany boss Joachim Low confirmed to reporters this weekend that he is advising the midfielder to leave PSG if he wants to feature at next summer’s European Championships:

“I have had a long conversation with him and we discussed ideas. For Julian, it is naturally important to go to the next level at this age. If he played regularly, that would probably help him to be more impactful. The question to ask is will PSG let him go or not. When he was called upon, he had very good moments and can always play at this level. But it will be important for Julian to be on the pitch week after week.”
