RB Leipzig make approach for Paris FC goalkeeper Macéo Sow

Foot Mercato report that German side RB Leipzig have made an offer for Ligue 2 side Paris FC’s 18-year-old goalkeeper Macéo Sow.

He joined the capital club from Le Mans last season, and is being closely tracked by PSG, Brest and RC Lens.

Sow has recently spoken with Kana Fall, the goalkeeping coach for Senegal’s U20s and U23s, as well as Youssouph Dabo, the first team coach of the the national team, about possible selection.

He has in the meantime received a contract offer from German side RB Leipzig. RBL have been watching him closely since November and conversations are due to pick up again between the relevant parties once the COVID-19 pandemic is averted.

Leipzig’s offer was made to the player after a 1-0 victory over ASPTT Dijon on 7th March, in a game where his talent shone through, saving a penalty and proving to be very impressive with the ball at his feet.
