SudPresse report that ex-Lyon and Impact Montréal manager Rémi Garde is poised to become the new manager of Belgian outfit Standard Liège.
Garde is in advanced negotiations over with the Belgian 1st division club, having already visited the club’s facilities when he came close to signing with them 3 years ago.
Michel Preud’homme, who has been in the Standard managerial role for two years, will step back from football management this summer.
