Rennes & Hamari Traoré set to return to the table for extension talks

L’Équipe report that last week’s departure of ex-President Olivier Létang from Ligue 1 side Rennes could precipitate a return to the negotiating table for the club’s right-back Hamari Traoré, whose discussions with SRFC about a new deal had hit a stumbling block under Létang’s reign.

28-year-old Traoré is currently tied to the Brittany club until 2021 – he was notably given the captain’s armband in midweek as Rennes triumphed over 4th division side Belfort in the Coupe de France quarter-finals.
