Robert Pirès wants to become a manager

Ex-Arsenal midfielder and French international Robert Pirès has told Le Parisien that he shortly wishes to enter the world of football management.

“Next year I intend to pass my diploma in Spain. It is a bit thanks to my friend Marcel Desailly. He said to me that in life you never know what will happen tomorrow and has advised me to follow this path in the event, that one day, a president could be interested in my candidacy. I am going to follow his advice. If I can give back my experience to new generations and show them the way, I would be most happy. I miss the football pitch.”
