Saïd Benrahma asked about Arsenal interest: “It is always flattering. But I am at Brentford.”

Speaking in an interview with France Football, Algerian winger Saïd Benrahma was asked by the outlet about some of their transfer reporting from earlier in 2020 which indicated that former Arsenal players had told the club’s board to go after the former OGC Nice man.

“It is always flattering. But I am at Brentford and I have one aim, one mission. It would not be good to think about anything else, nor would it be respectful vis-a-vis a team where there are only great people in it. I hope that we are going to get there.”

On Griffin Park:

It is a cage! When you enter the pitch, it gives you even more hunger. You enter this cage, and you fight. And then where it is situated, bang in the middle of a part of town, it’s fantastic too. I am therefore going to miss it a lot, yes. But the new stadium is good too. We have visited it and honestly, it’s good.

And the fans will remain the same. Talk to us about the role they played in the victory in the semi-final of the play-offs…

Are you aware of it? It is true that they give us a lot of strength. Their video of encouragements went around our WhatsApp group, and that, that gives us a little supplement, strength. I hope that we will make them even happier on Tuesday.
