L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 side St Étienne are looking to quickly extend the contract of 19-year-old central defender Wesley Fofana’s contract.
ASSE, who have been contacted by several clubs for their player, do not want to sell him immediately and would like to extend his contract.
AC Milan and RB Leipzig have recently made enquiries, with RB Salzburg and AS Monaco have already been watching the player closely.
Fofana is currently under contract until 2022, having extended his deal last summer. ASSE have no intention of selling him and have made this clear to interested parties. They view Fofana as the heir to William Saliba as their future record sale.
Mohamed Toubache-TER reports separately that the player himself does not want to move to AC Milan at this stage.
