PSG have this evening announced that 35-year-old central defender and club captain Thiago Silva will almost certainly miss their Round of 16 2nd leg clash in the Champions’ League against Borussia Dortmund, after suffering a right thigh injury on Sunday evening in a Ligue 1 clash with Bordeaux.
Les Parisiens anticipate that the Brazilian will be out for three weeks and therefore is very unlikely to play a part as PSG try to overcome the 2-1 loss that they suffered in Germany last week.
