Thomas Tuchel angry about questions on playing style following Leipzig victory

Speaking to RMC Sport, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel was aghast to receive questions about the manner in which the club narrowly beat RB Leipzig in a crucial victory that keeps their Champions’ League knockout run objective alive.

“You said that we needed a win and now, we have one! We played with big heart, it was a very difficult match. I knew it would be and now we have won it. Sorry, excuse me. We tried, but excuse me… We played today to do what? With these injuries? It was a challenge to win and we won. If you are saying that it is more important to play well than win, that is your opinion, not mine.”

“The heart, the solidarity, the effort to remain together because we are in a difficult situation. I know very well that we can expect more, but if we look seriously at the situation in which we are playing… there you have it. We needed a win and we have one.”
